Practice closure for staff training - Tuesday 3rd July 2018

The Practice will close at 12.00noon on Tuesday 3rd July to provide important training and learning events for staff. If you require urgent medical advice during the closure please contact out of hours by calling 111. Thank you.

We have gone live with a new online system called eConsult. It allows patients to self-check symptoms and receive medical advice without attending the Surgery. You can use this 24 hours a day and if needed our GPs will respond no later than the end of the next working day. Please see our home page for further details.

Infection, Prevention and Control

The employers and all staff at Church View Surgery are committed to minimising the risk of infection and to ensure the safety of patients.

Infection prevention and control in all healthcare settings has attracted heightened interest in recent years. Public confidence in general practice relies upon being, and being seen to be safe places for treatment, and safe places to work. The need for safe infection prevention and control in primary care is now more urgent than ever.

In line with the Health and Social Care Act 2008: Code of Practice on Prevention and Control of Infection and its related guidance, we produce an annual statement each year in January.
